| Wilco Tl Posts: 1 United Kingdom | Posted - 8/1/2004 1:33:17 PM    Using a Conexant Soft56 Data.Fax Modem and my connection will only be successfull with the modem set with Pulse dialling. Tone dialling will never connect. Any advice would be appreciated........Wilco |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 8/5/2004 9:21:52 PM  Find out what tone duration your modem is set to - use Hyperterminal ats11? www.modemsite.com/56k/x2-hyperterm.asp Change the tone duration to a higher number - test in Hyperterminal, then change your init string Make sure your country settings are set for UK.
