altallica Tl Posts: 1 Cuba | Posted - 8/4/2004 9:19:28 AM Hi: I had Windows 98SE English version installed in my PC and I had no trouble with the 56 Kbps Data/Fax/Voice (internal)Motorola modem settings. I had to format the HDD and now I have Windows 98SE Spanish version installed, and every time I try to make a connection, it would deliver a dialog box warning me that there´s an incompatibility with the system country settings and the modem country settings, that I should change the modem country settings to USA for this to work properly or something like that. When I click "OK" and change nothing, it works the same, but I can´t leave the computer alone attempting to retry a connection several times, ´cause it holds on until you click "OK". I already changed the modem country settings to USA, but nothing happens. What should I do? Reinstall the modem drivers? Check for the proper ones? Thanx Altallica |

What driver version do you have installed? http://docs.us.dell.com/support/edocs/Systems/latls/en/modem/setup.htm
