I would like to dial a number using ATDT<phone #>, wait until the other phone answers, flash, then dial other digits. I have tried:

ATDT<phone #>;ATDT!<digits>;H0

and various W's, @'s and commas without any luck. I'm wondering if there is someway for the modem to be triggered to continue with commands when the other phone answers.

Thanks.

Are making a voice call?

Command Description
ATD5551234; Provide a dial string appended with a semicolon (;) for the DCE to place the call
and go to command mode.
OK The DCE responds, and the number is dialed.
The call is placed through the phone network in data mode. The modem stays in command mode, and the
application should wait for the OK before sending next command.

Thanks for your help.

I AM making a voice call. The modem responds with OK right after it dials, and proceeds to dial the next number, without waiting for the other phone to answer.

ATDT<phone #>W;

seems to be doing what I want. I didn't know that W needed silence to work (at least on my modem it does).

Thanks for your help.
