geneman Tl Posts: 3 USA	Posted - 10/9/2004 5:56:21 PM Dear Members I am a new member in here. I have a problem in my computer. It suddenly restarts itself sometimes (usually when internet in on). After restarting when a request for sending an error report comes and i send the error report the result comes as"Solution found: error in Lucent windows modem". Here is the detail of the error report send: error signature BCCode : 100000be BCP1 : F8051A41 BCP2 : 058FC121 BCP3 : 8053E1A0 BCP4 : 0000000A OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 768_1 Files included in the report: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini092204-01.dmp C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER5.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml Please help me in finding a solution of this problem. i have been very much annoyed by this problem! Try put modem in a different PCI slot www.modemsite.com/56k/pci.asp Check the modem driver version - if not using 8.30, update the driver - www.modemsite.com/56k/ltwin.asp www.modemsite.com/56k/ltwin7.asp www.modemsite.com/56k/ltwin6.asp Aloha! v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA	Posted - 10/11/2004 7:01:59 PM Have you tried putting the modem in a different PCI slot? Is your computer a Compaq or HP? You have driver version 8.31. I recommend using 8.30. 8.31 is not "fully tested" driver. See 18-Aug-04 update - www.modemsite.com/56k/latest.asp You can get 8.30 driver from Modemsite (with Premium Access) or from other sites listed at www.modemsite.com/56k/ltwin7.asp Aloha! Richard.
