My Agere Win Modem disconnects after 6 hours. This happens every time I log on. It will work for 6 hours then suddenly disconnect. Anyone know how to fix this?

Check your ISPs "TOS" (Terms Of Service) agreement or "Terms & Conditions". Many have a "continual use" clause and will disconnect even if your downloading.
Ezample;

""Currently, users are disconnected after approximately 20 minutes of inactivity or after approximately 6 hours of continual use.""
