I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and have access to five PeoplePC server numbers. I am using the Dialer that People PC installs with my Agere PCI Softmoden. I am having problems getting decent connection speeds. I was getting connection speeds of 45.2 to 47.2 but now I am only getting 26.4 to 38. Is anyone else that lives in this part of the world having the same problems with PeoplePC? (And if you are have you found a solution?)

You were getting 45.2-47 speeds with what? Same modem, same numbers?

Suggest you post your modem log and post-call diagnostics here -
Also, check to see what driver version you are using with the modem (response to ati3 using Hyperterminal - www.modemsite.com/56k/x2-hyperterm.asp)?
