Hi,

I recently upgraded from win 98 to win 2k. Inthe process my Smart One 56F Best Data modem stopped working. The Best Data site apparently does not support my old isa modem, and did not produce a win 2k driver. Is there anything I can do? Are other drivers available for this thing?

Best Data lists the Smart One 56F ISA modem as Windows 2000 compatible.

Its not working is most likely related to old firmware.

Thanks for the info. I'll try this out when I get back in town. It's interesting that, while I could follow the links you provided, I found no way to get to that information from Best Data's home page!?!? Maybe I'm missing something...

I also notice the firmware upgrade only states coverage for win95-98...
