| jimoferie Tl Posts: 6 USA | Posted - 1/30/2005 8:07:27 PM    Hi Guys... I reloaded my operating system. I had the 830 driver on a cd and loaded it but now I can't get a dial tone. Hyperterminal says I have "LT v90 Data+Fax Version 5.98A" modem. I also have ltmoh (from Modemsite) with Call Waiting feature that was working before the crash. I suspect a Com Port problem but no matter which Com Port I try I can't get a dial tone. I tried unticking "wait for dial tone" and that didn't work either. I tried unticking (;) from Silent Renumeration in the ini file and that doesn't work either. Device Manager says I have "Lucent Win Modem". This message is transmitted on my old computer so I will have trouble giving you Logs, etc. I will have to scan them into my work computer and send them to this forum. Help, Please! |
| jimoferie Tl Posts: 6 USA | Posted - 2/3/2005 5:35:24 AM Problem solved. Moved the modem to a different PCI slot, rebooted, reloaded 8.30 and moh packages (available to subscribers only) and all works fine. Thanks to Richard! |
