Darter Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 2/1/2005 10:47:41 AM I'm trying to go online with my other computer. It has WinXP and I'm trying to go through the network connection dialog to connect. But whenever I go past the "Set up a Connection Manually" Option I am only prompted to connect through Broadband, and I am unable to choose the "Connect using a dial-up modem" option. (See http://www.modemsite.com/56k/connectoidxp.asp) I'm not quite sure why this is happening, it may be due to the fact that my older brother used to use it a college with an ethernet connection, but he also used it at home with no problems during the summer. Any help is appreciated. BTW, I have a Dell Data Fax Modem, if it makes any difference. |
