Out of the blue I can no longer conncect to my ISP. It dials, says it logging on and is connecting then immediately the modem redials again and goes through the entire scene again. IT never does really connect. I have uninstalled my ISP software (Netzero)and reinstalled, had phone co. check my phone line, tried diiferent access numbers etc.

Are you over your time limit?
Check the Netzero dialup software and see if you can set Redial Attempts to 0.
Check your modem log for errors after the first hang-up.
