| paws Tl Posts: 5 United Kingdom | Posted - 3/3/2005 11:22:18 AM    hallo. I want to put this external modem on a computer for my daughter( it's a PC). I used it a long time ago and had a job to find any drivers for it then - mostly it is meant for Macs. I took it off that machine because there was always a problem getting on the net. I found out later that this particular modem and AOL do not get on. Now I want to put it on another machine to use with a non-aol ISP, but can't find any drivers either on the Global Village or in driverguide.com. Can you help please? |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 3/3/2005 10:59:39 PM  Use standard modem/ standard 56k modem. External modems (with hardware controller) don't need any driver to work - the only thing the 'driver' does is define for Windows/TAPI what the modem commands and responses are. Aloha! Richard. |
