Don't know if any support is offered in the free forums.
But I ask anyway.
I have to install the right new drivers for ny internal modem, I think it is a Rockwell/Conexant,. I have opened my computer and found the Serial Number and more: S/N: 0K253379I CE 0197X
Is this info enough?
(I have downloaded som listmodem software at Conexant plus Acrobat instructions.)
Here are some info about the modem from a textfile I found on a floppy which I think is the disk where the drivers were but most files has been erased by someone, so I can't use the floppy:

You can use a program to ID the modem by its PCI\Ven (Vendor) number built into the card.
UnknownDevices by Halfdone.
Then use the online "Identify Unknown Modems" lookup at Modemhelp UK
"Identify your modem:" help from Modemsite;
"Identifying Your Modem Chipset"

Conexant offers generic drivers and also a modem identification utility (because there are different Conexant chipsets)
(The 3rd Conexant chipset - ACF - is hardware controller based and the modem will operate without any driver - www.modemsite.com/56k/rockacf.asp )
