WanaBeSmart Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 3/31/2005 9:58:38 PM I need to add an internal modem (or a com port for an external modem) to an industrial PC that is running a DOS program in a pure DOS environment (not a DOS window in 98). The PC has no avaialable ISA slots and only one Mother Board serial port. Does anyone make a NON Plug and Play PCI modem or Serial Card that will allow me to set the second serial port to Com 2 BAse Addr:02F8 IRQ4 ? |

If you can't find modem - you could get a PCI card that provides add'l COM ports - like http://www.decision.com.tw/product-a1b.htm (2nd item) http://www.manhattan-support.com/driver-mercury-serial.shtml Aloha!
