| abc123 Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 4/5/2005 7:13:40 PM    k my modem was working fine until 2-4 days ago i play a large MMORPG game called "world of warcraft" i usually hit 300-500, no lag, all fine then i was lagging really bad, i restarted Connected at 19.2 (or below) *note: i could connect to 50+ kbps but after a while, it was dieing and i could see my ping go from 327-->10,000+! with no hope left, i installed my old computer's modem (same ol' dumb connection), then i reformatted (wow that barely did anything!) i bought new phone jacks, tried my friend's isp (netzero-also gave crap results) i usually use MSN/MetConnect please help me! my comp specs are as follows: 2.26 ghz p4 i dont know what else to post, so if you could please fix my problem, i would be very happy :)! |
