Ninernut5 Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 5/24/2005 9:29:39 AM I have a Lucent Tech. Soft Modem AMR (came w/computer). I run a DSL line, so I wasn't aware of a problem until just recently when I tried to use the dial up version when DSL was down. I attempted to use "hyperterminal" and got a message that was not getting a dial tone. Device manager tells me that the "device is working properly". I admit, this is not my area, so is this something I can figure out myself or would I be better off taking this to someone else? |

Even better test to the demarc - www.modemsite.com/56k/demarc.asp Aloha! Richard. |
