If I then disconnect and redial this will increase to 48.0. If I repeat this process after the fourth connect/ disconnect cycle I can get a 54.4 kbps connection rate. But, having to do this is a bit of a pain. Does anyone know if there's a setting I can change so that I can connect at the faster speed from the start without having to repeatedly connect/ disconnect/ connect? I have a Toshiba Satellite running Windows XP Pro and a Toshiba Software Modem (V92). Thanks, phill |
