mhavlat Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 8/25/2005 12:44:28 PM I need some help to try and figure out how I can make this work. What I have is an amigo AMI-IA56 voice modem. I am trying to use a headset with this modem but the problem is I need to use the headset for my speech recognition software because of my disability. So I have my sound card which has: line in speaker out microphone The modem has: So how would it be possible to be able to use my headset both for the speech recognition and answer the phone with the voice modem function. I have plenty of software that should work but I just don't know how to go about hooking them up correctly so that they will function as they should. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. You *might* be able to do it with one by connecting sound card's line out to the modem's microphone connection, and the modem's speaker out to the sound cards line input. (However, this would require sound card that has more than 1 input so you can use your regular microphone...) Aloha! Richard. |
