Hello, I've been looking for a pci modem that handles data/fax/voice with caller id support that has drivers for Windows x64. I have located 2 modems that work on x64 (1)Best Data HP56 with the Smartlink chipset and (2) an Intel chipset 537EP. Unfortunately the Best data doesn't support v.253, IS-101 standard so it doesn't work with my call recording app and the Intel Based chipset also isn't working with the recording app, the audio is all distorted. The box the Intel modem came in says its a full duplex speakerphone capable, but device manager in xp only shows it as an half duplex. I'm not sure if thats where the problem lies thou with the distortion in my recording app. Any recommendations for the features I'm needing on a pci modem, or how to get the Intel modem to record with a clear signal? Thanks!

I should also mention that I'm dual booting with x64, xp32bit is my primary os still. But the problem with the distortion persist on either os. After doing more reading at intel's site I'm getting the impression that the 537EP Chipset is for a soft modem and the 536EP Chipset is for hardware based modems. Is it possible thats where my problem lies? That the 537EP Chipset modem just is having hard time with voice going through the system sound instead of using sound controller from a modem? I bought the 537EP over the 536EP because it specifically stated at intel's site it handled v.253, IS-101 standard and both Type 1 and Type 2 caller id, the 536EP Chipset just says it has IS-101 commands and supports caller ID, doesn't say which type or both.
