arrrgh Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 12/16/2005 4:56:24 PM I'm using Windows XP Home, and when I open the list to choose my country when setting up my modem, the field is blank. When I originally set up the modem, the list was full of places. Everything else in the modem setup works fine, but I can't get online. I read about problems with this field being blank in Windows 95, but I can't find anything about this particular problem with XP. This is just the beginning of my problems getting online with dial-up, but this is most pressing right now. Does anyone know what to do about this? |

I don't know what file/where in Windows this is stored (if you find out, please let us know), but would imagine a re-install of Windows (on top of your existing install) would correct the problem. Aloha! Richard. |
