Hello,I just purchased a Compaq computer which has an "Agere Systems Soft Modem" installed. I was just wondering whether or not the V.92 Agere drivers would work with this modem or if the modem if upgradable to the V.92 standard?
I did a diagnosis on the modem.. and the driver version is "2.1.41.10". I will copy and paste all the diagnostic information that came up when the modem was queried. Please advise if there is anything to be done to upgrade this modem's drivers... or if I'm forced to by another Agere modem to utilize V.92.
