Can I connect the handset to the modem to send and recieve data - if i dial the number manually first to get a handshake tone? If I purchase the appropriate mini jack from the phone, do I just attach to the two "line in" connectors on the modem card? Ot do I need a line transformer etc?
Many Thanks, |

Modems in data mode use the RJ11 phone jack and are designed to interface directly to phone line. So - the answer to your question is no, I don't think you can do what you want. Aloha! Richard. |
