I have the following options available to me at my local Best Buy where I have gift cards so I don't really want to look elswhere unless none of these modems come recommended. I downloaded the drivers for each of them to see if I could determine what chipset they used from their inf.

Any advice you guys could give me as to which one of these would be the best choice would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking the Creative DE5621, but I will have to drive to the next closest Best Buy (40 miles) where it is in stock.

OS: Windows XP Pro SP 2
MB: Asus A8N-E
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
Sound: Creative Audigy 2 ZS

The only requirements that I have is that it makes and keeps a good connection with my ISP (currently AOL), and does not cause BSOD the way my current modem does.
