Walker Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 6/24/2006 2:54:35 PM Hi all, I have the following options available to me at my local Best Buy where I have gift cards so I don't really want to look elswhere unless none of these modems come recommended. I downloaded the drivers for each of them to see if I could determine what chipset they used from their inf. 1.) Creative DE5621 External/Serial 2.) Creative DE5671 External/USB 3.) Creative DI5633 Internal/PCI 4.) Dynex DX-M300 External/USB 5.) Dynex DX-M100 Internal/PCI Any advice you guys could give me as to which one of these would be the best choice would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking the Creative DE5621, but I will have to drive to the next closest Best Buy (40 miles) where it is in stock. Thank you, |
Walker Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 6/24/2006 3:25:51 PM Oh and by the way, the system it will be used on: OS: Windows XP Pro SP 2 The only requirements that I have is that it makes and keeps a good connection with my ISP (currently AOL), and does not cause BSOD the way my current modem does.
