hamed23100 Tl Posts: 1 Iran | Posted - 11/18/2006 6:29:11 AM Hi, I have bought three Zoltrix smart spirit 56k modem for my answering phone program, but when i try to use more than one of them in same time my computer restarts. i have connected to zoltrix representitive here and they said it is driver problem, they promised me to solve it soon but not yet solved. i have tried this problem with Acorp modems too and i have tested this problem on several computers with windows XP and windows server 2003 |
v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 12/13/2006 8:25:16 AM You can put modems with different chipsets in the same machine. www.modemsite.com/56k/chipset.asp You can use multiple modems of the same chipse if that modem is a hardware-controller based modem; or, if the driver supports multiple modems. Some software / controllerless modem - driver combinations support it, [some Agere - but only with specific/particular/older drivers]. Aloha! Richard. |
