Hi i have a SoftV.90 Data Fax Modem with SmartCP.
I have heard you can use a driver to update this type of modem to V.92. I want to know where i can get the driver i should use, and also where i can find the modem on hold software (for my ISP is V.92 compatible). here is the modem information.

Where did you get the modem?
Basically, you can use any compatible Conexant driver that supports V.92.
The generic driver at Conexant's site may do the trick.
(My bet is you got this bundled with a PC from a vendor that intentionally "downgrades" the modem to V.90 because they don't want to support V.92 --- like HP/Compaq?)
