I have a Broadcom 56k modem and am on dialup. Most of the time I get a 32k connection, sometimes less...

My question is, am I pretty much stuck with it this slow until I can get High speed or broadband, or is there a modem out there that may help with the speed?

I would appreciate any advice.. Thanks!

(Sorry to take so long to reply - somehow I missed your question).

There's really no way to answer your question accurately ---
Whether you can get better results depends upon many variables -
So, you could try a different modem - that's really the only way to know....
If you were to try a different modem, I would suggest trying one with Agere-(now LSI) softmodem chipset -
