Most of these machines have Softmodems or Winmodems isnstalled which are sometimes hard to get working under Linux. In this particular case I need to know, if somebody knows if there is a Linux support for PCI modem CE0682X which has an ESS TeleDrive chipset ES2898S? I was not successful in my Google researches so far. Maybe somebody can help me. Any comment or idea is highly appreciated. Cariboo |

You might consider getting old (used) external USR Sportster or Courier modems..... Aloha! Richard. |
