I am having a lot of trouble getting my USR 56K V90 modem to work on my computer running Windows ME.

I have tried 4 other brands of 56k modems and have the same problem with each of them. I receive the RAS code 630 which I understand to be a hardware problem, but I do not know beyond that. In device manager a large ? with ! in a yellow circle shows but I cannot find out why.

Do you thing you may be able to give me some ideas?
