I've got a Conexant Smart HSFi 56K speakerphone PCI modem. I was told I could get better online game play if I turned off error correction. So I want to know if that is true. And if so what other pluses or negatives might come from changing that. And then also how to go about doing it. I'm not very computer savy. So instructions would have to be pretty complete starting from the very beginning.
