Search tips:

For fastest search, choose a Search Forum other than ALL, and search the most recent messages. An even faster (but less thorough) Search can be done if you Search only in the Subject line. If you don't get results, you can expand your search to include more dates, or re-word your search term(s).

Use 2 to 5 words that, in combination, are likely to be unique to what you are looking for : The search automatically wildcards each word in what you Search For:

BAD:
win  - Will return messages that contain words like: Windows, wince, wind, rewind, etc
modem - A very high percentage of all messages contain the word 'modem'.

GOOD:
lucent disconnect problem
computer freeze

Avoid the use of common words like the, of, from, to, etc., unless you are searching with the Match Exact Phrase option.

RESULTS of the search are ordered by topics with most recent postings. A maximum of 50 topics will be displayed.
