kyanox Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 11/22/2000 11:14:54 PM I reciently updated this modem with the update wizard and now it won't detect itself in windows 98, 95 ME, nothing. I've tried the update wizard again, and it also won't detect it. 1. I am sure it's a bad flash but what i am wondering is if there is a software package out there which can reflash it with the original 56k code. I can then upgrade from there. Christopher R. Smyth |

A Hardware modem that does not successfully complete the flash process is no longer a usable modem and the only thing you can do is send it in for repair/replacement. The USR Courier is the only h/w modem I am aware of that's an exception to this - it has a bootstrap mode that allows you to flash even if the flash is corrupted. Aloha, |
