dcaps683 Tl Posts: 3 United Kingdom | Posted - 2/15/2001 6:08:49 AM Is there a way of using a batch file or a small runtime procedure to ask a US Robotic modem to answer after 2 rings. I know how to do this in the normal way but I want to be able to wrap that up so that a client will be able to do this with the settings I need, this has to be in a format that they can just double click a file and its all done for them. Assuming the modem starts in command mode: ECHO ATS0=2; > COM2: (I added a semicolon because I'm not sure if a carriage return is given at the end of this. If it isn't you could break the command into multiple ECHOs of single characters with intervening pauses if necessary.) Good luck. |
