| Hystrix Tl Posts: 3 | Posted - 3/15/2001 3:38:00 PM    It's 2 day that my USRobotics sportsterflash doesn't work. I connect to my provider, the little monitors appear but i can't surfe, if i try to read my mail with outlook express it givs mr errors: not connected to server. What can i do? Help me please |
| SARGE Tl Posts: 743 USA | Posted - 3/15/2001 8:08:00 PM  double click my computer, double click dial up networking. Right click your ISP, properties. Click server types tab - only enable software compression and TCP/IP should be checked. While here, click TCP/IP settings - use IP header compression and use default gateway on remote network should be checked. |
| honeytounge Tl Posts: 4 USA | Posted - 3/16/2001 3:12:15 PM If the prior tcp/ip settings are all correct, see if you can ping your gateway and or host.Also see if you can ping yourself, and try ping 127.0.0.1. If you cannot ping the host or router, reboot your computer and try again. If you ping succefully, try to load a page. (you should be able to) If you still cannot ping, you may need to reinstall tcp/ip. |
