| lobb Tl Posts: 26 USA | Posted - 5/30/2001 12:09:50 AM     im getting disconnected with my v everything courier isa.its properly flashed and is using correct ini.it connects at 50.666 every time.in the log it says "remote modem hung up" and then "no carrier". id really like to use this modem because im getting better pings than my soft56 ,but the soft 56 never disconnects.ive got nothing in extra settings on either modem. P.S. i did try u28&n34[it didnt help] should i try going lower?? about how much? also im getting some serial overrun errors[only on the courier]. AND-->what is arq. im SLOWLY trying to figure all these ins and outs. id be glad to post any hyperterminal results or logs, please let me know. |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 5/30/2001 10:10:36 AM Suggest you post results from ati6i11y11 after you've been disconnected. (Use Hyperterminal - www.808news.com/56k/x2-hyperterm.htm ) Would also suggest disable 56k on modem to see whether you still get disconnects; Aloha, |
| Jerry Tl Posts: 26 Canada | Posted - 6/7/2001 8:19:34 AM i had that problem until i lowered connect speed to 44,000 . now i never get discconnected when i hasd no limits i connected at 50,666 but would be disconnected all the time ! |
