I just got my USR V.92 EXT. I downloaded the Internet Call Notification software from USR. Now, we only have Caller ID and I do think we need Call Waiting from my phone company. So, this would require my parents (I'm 16 ) to receive this service from our phone company for $3.85 US. I want to verify the accurancy of my plan before I ask them to get the services up and running. Can I get the USR to dissconnect when someone calls (If, say, I DID have those two phone features) me with V.90? The little peice of info paper said it could be done. But, with how USR has been treating me with previous products, I'm not sure if I should belive them. . Also, I do not need Call Waiting ID to, do I? I saw that on the phone company pricing site. That would make it too expensive. lol. Thank you. If you have any questions about the rambling above, please leave a post. I hope I get answers quick, I'm excited about this new feature. My ISP only has V.90.

Doesn't matter if you have caller id;
If you don't have call waiting and are on Internet - caller gets busy signal;
If you do have call waiting - doesn't matter whether you have caller id - you have the potential to disconnect on incoming call; whether the USR V.92 modem will do this on a call w/ V.90 server - I do not know. (The Lucent will....)

Got a friend that has call waiting? If so then try the modem at his/her home.
