I couldn't get driver from 3Com, USR and DELL. I check this modem in DELL website and they have this model (0002513E) as a refubished modem. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

| Kelly Eslinger Tl Posts: 19 USA | Posted - 9/18/2001 5:48:41 AM Steve, I have the same chipset in my OEM Dell. My modem is a 3 Com USR 56K/V.90 PCI Winmodem. Dell says it is a Coyote but I don't think it is. It is my understanding that the Coyote has a Micron chipset. I have used the Dell driver coyote 98 and it does not work properly for me. I connect only @ 28.8 (yuck). I have posted on this but I guess they forgot about me. LOL Anyways I found this list of drivers for that chipset here. http://www2.driverguide.com/cgi/dfsearch.pl There are several so try one or try em all. GL |

Win 95 finds the modem but then when I try to install it in sever different ways, I fail. Has a 671-9372 Micron MK 6490 US Robotics PD17238PJ Chip and another saying 6BaldFJ TL16cfm600apjm. I don't know if this is compq (hate compaq) or some other OEM. Have a good day |
