frankboll Tl Posts: 1 | Posted - 1/3/2002 9:02:08 AM Cant seem to get this modem to work. USR site does not seem to have info on this particular modem. This Modem is sold at Sams Clubs for about $25.00. It connects at 49900 but disconnects quickly. Trying to limit the speed with a &Nxx and &Lxx does not seem to work.(It still connects at 49900) ISP said to set S32 to higher number to lengthen the inactivity time before disconnect. However S32 does not seem to be available. Has anyone had good results with this modem? Would appreciate any help. |
Bob Starnes Tl Posts: 4360 USA | Posted - 1/3/2002 8:07:06 PM Go to www.usr.com/support/s-main-menu.asp and click on the Product Code Finder for how to ID the modem. Or check the Product ID in the ati7 results in Hyperterminal. That should be &Un and &Nn to set the range of speeds for the modem to operate within. |
