I plan to substitute a variable power supply ...input is 220 volts - the output of the OEM adaptor...???? Can someone pls. help me ...I need to know the voltage output of the adaptor and its polarity (+/in or out ; -/in or out ) ...Oh gosh... pauldog Tl Posts: 231 USA | Posted - 1/16/2002 11:48:44 PM My Sportster external faxmodem uses an adapter with an output of 9v AC, 1000mA. Since the output is AC, you don't have to worry about polarity. Some Hayes modems used adapters with about the same specs. |
