Ive usr 3094 Oem modem....
i m getting callwaiting on my phone line ocuz ive one phone line my question is when i will be online and if call comes in will i get Dc ?
how this works i never used callwaiting can u please tell me in detail ?
how these callwaiting modems works ?
how to turn off call waiting ?

The 3094 appears to be a Rockwell/Conexant-based HSP (Soft56) Modem -
The .inf file in the driver at
http://www.usr.com/support/s-modem/s-modem-oem-downloads.asp#3094
contains:
"Copyright (C) 1996-1998, Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, Inc.
; Copyright (C) 1999-2001 Conexant Systems
; Last modified 2/28/2001, Conexant Systems
; Last modified 03/02/2001, by U.S. Robotics Corporation"

and is a VERY OLD V.90-only driver.

To get disconnected on call waiting, you need V.92;
And, the modem driver must support the telco signaling used in your country.

Bottom line: I do not believe you will ever be able to do this with anything USR will make available to you.

It might be possible to do by substituting another vendor's driver (which may involve .inf file modification or other tricks).

ya i never thought that what i m buying is a usr conexant based modem infact i had a hsf and i sell it and got this modem i thought its a winmodem which is lil better then hsf or soft but guess what when i installed it i found out its also hsf modem hehe damn i spend so much money on same modem again...........
tell me if i have callwaiting now and when some body calls bcoz of that beep coming will this modem DC ? i mean will it lost carrer and dc or it wont ? how does a callwaiting modems work ive heard some work on v90 too ?
