| togood83 Tl Posts: 3 USA | Posted - 3/14/2002 1:36:26 PM    Repost: Is there a Win2000 driver for the subject modem (3rd party included)? USR website only has drivers for win95/98/NT. This is an x2 modem. Firmware has been upgraded to V4.6.6! I'm not knowledgeable enough to develop one from the NT driver, and suggestions are appreciated. | v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 3/22/2002 11:16:41 AM  The 'driver' is nothing more than an .inf file which defines modem responses, command set, etc. This kind of driver is not OS-specific - you can use any Windows driver; in fact, the modem will operate without a driver at all (in Hyperterminal) or with the wrong driver (you can use 'Standard Modem', but would then need to use init string to take advantage of modem features.)
