dan49327 Tl Posts: 4 | Posted - 7/10/2000 9:00:42 AM I have tried using the methods described on this page (http://808news.com/56k/x2-hyperterm.htm) to capture the port that the modem is on on order to diagnose problem with connection speeds. The problem is that Hyperterminal reports back that the port is already open or can't open port. (Two different computers - two different messsages) Is there something that I'm doing wrong? |

Also, make sure you have HT configured to the correct COM port; If you still have trouble, suggest running HT after Windows boot to make sure you can get in before you start anything else. Aloha, |
