RedRunner Tl Posts: 1 Canada | Posted - 10/10/2002 10:13:23 AM I am impressed(flabbergasted) with all the info on this site, I appreciate all the hard work. Here is my problem:(Your assistance and guidence is appreciated). I have a Router(Cisco) in Bangladesh, I need to access it via modem to do some programming. Canada: Bangladesh: I have an exact setup in L.A.(But I can get in there just fine). The phone line we are dialing works great for voice. What is happening: The modem answers I am able to get into the router, I can get info then about a Minute in, the call is dropped, (I get the NO CARRIER MESSAGE).Or I get CHARACTERS(Garbage). I can change settings readily on this side, I tried lowering the speed even to 1200, hardware/software flow controls, buffer speeds, similar results. My thoughts: I know I may be asking for a lot. Your time is appreciated,
