| graham74 Tl Posts: 2 United Kingdom | Posted - 1/28/2004 8:02:36 AM    Hi, Im having a problem with my external modem (Elsa Microlink 56k), in that I can’t stay on line for more than 5 minutes without being disconnected. I have checked my phone line for noise and it seems to be okay. I’m not sure weather I may need new firmware, (I have tried reducing the speed but doesn’t work) though dunno how or which one to install ? (Manufactuerers website is down for maintenance!) Can anyone help? |

Click tools,internet options,connection,settings,advanced,take the check out of disconnect if idled. Also if you have outlook express open make sure you don,t have hang up after send and receive. What OS are you using?
