I am trying to transfer "text" typed in the Hyperterminal window to the FAX.
Please someone suggest me the right way to transfer ASCII data to the remote fax using AT commands.
utility of AT+FTM and auto-answer(ATS0=1)??

how storage telephone number in Hyperteminal (AT&Z1=num does not work)??
how to know when to use ATDPnum or ATDTnum??what difference?? bettter??

You can't do that.
Fax isn't a text-oriented transmission, it's a bitmap (picture).

You need to convert what you want to send to fax format, and send it with fax software - not Hyperterminal. Most fax software gives you the ability to 'print' anything to the fax format.

AT+FTM=## sets the modem for a particular fax modem protocol.

D = dial command
P = pulse dial
T = tone dial

You can use Hyperterminal to set modem to fax modem, you can use Hyperterminal to dial another (fax) modem; but, once connected, the only data that will be meaningful to the other end is a properly formatted fax bitmap - forget trying to send text.
