Eas Tex Lumber Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 6/1/2004 1:20:17 PM I have a "Conexant HCF V90 56K Data Fax PCI Modem" Win XP states that it is not compatible to XP. Can I upgrade my modem at this website or do I have to Purchase a new Modem? |
v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 6/1/2004 11:59:24 PM The modem is compatible with XP - You should install XP without the modem in the system. Then, after XP is installed, add the modem. You can obtain an XP-compatible HCF driver for your modem from a number of sources that may include the vendor of your modem, Conexant, etc. Many of these sources are listed at www.modemsite.com/56k/hcf7.asp Also see: Aloha!
