nic_mol Tl Posts: 1 Romania | Posted - 6/4/2004 2:53:36 PM hi! i set up an incoming connection in win xp and almost everything is ok: file sharing, user account, user rights... but i need to make the following setting: i want the computer to automatically answer the call after 9 rings. now, by default, the computer automatically answers the call after the first ring and this is not good for me. how can i set it to answer after 9 rings? do i need to edit the modem.inf file or the registry? a tip would be great. thank you for your time! |
v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 6/6/2004 9:32:16 PM The autoanswer command is s0=# where # is the # of rings to answer on - zero turns autoanswer off - so AT S0=9 (That's s-zero)
