| mdutzer Tl Posts: 4 USA | Posted - 7/24/2004 6:54:30 AM    I've tried using several variations of USR modems with Win2k and I tend to get a lot of disconnected or I have to try calls 2 or 3 times before they go through. Are there any known problems with Win2k and tapi? Any suggestions? I didn't have any problems when I was using NT 4.0 and I don't have problems on my laptop which runs XP. Thanks |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 7/25/2004 9:39:41 AM  No - Win2K itself is probably not cause of problem - setup of your connectoids or setup of other aspects of the OS more likely. Check your connectoid settings / delete all unnecessary connectoids www.modemsite.com/56k/connectoid.asp Eliminate other networking if not used If problem persists - troubleshoot by getting Modemlog and post-call diagnostics Aloha!
