I have an Agere Win Modem. Normal connection speed w/my Internet Co. is 28.8 (usually 26.8), but the past month it's usually 12.0, rarely 14.8 & yesterday 115, then 9.6!!
When I checked the modem, it says it is working properly.
Why am I getting these low, low, lower connection speeds?
Am I about to not be able to connect at all?

If possible, connect your modem directly to telco demarc to see if there is any difference in your connections.

Note: 115.2k is not a valid modem-to-modem rate - that rate would be displayed if the modem connects at a rate that is not defined in the modem's installation (.inf) file;
14.8k is not a valid rate (14.4k is)
