sailor67 Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 12/29/2004 8:15:36 AM modem is a Conexant SoftK56. I recently changed from my isp from msn to aol. w/ msn my connect speed varied btwn 28.4 and 31.2 kbs. Never did i get higher, rarely lower. W/ aol i vary btwn 28.8 and 26.4, never higher. I started having problems w/ a radio station that i log onto since i'v ehad aol, and that is that its stream keeps breaking up - the media player almost continually re-buffers. seldom can i listen to more than three words consecutively before it re-buffers. i've checked throughput at several site and my throughput seems to be ok - 116k, 137k, 135k, 157k (toast.net) any suggestions??? |

(The at#ud needs to be decoded to be of any use - ) See www.modemsite.com/56k/diag.asp www.modemsite.com/56k/diag.asp#ud www.modemsite.com/56k/soft56.asp Also check what driver version do you have? That's the response to What OS are you running?
