Device manager sees the modem properly, but I am unable to Query the modem. Also, when I try to dial my ISP (back up for when my ADSL is down) I get a 629 error. I am able to connect to the Modem via Hyperterminal and COM3, but not when I select the modem directly. Any help would be appreciated in getting this modem working. Thanks in advance. |

thetraveller Tl Posts: 3 Canada | Posted - 1/24/2005 3:01:06 PM I tried the driver from USR for the 2977 eventhough it doesn't say specifically for XP. Still no luck in getting it to dial except with Hyperterminal connected to COM3 instead of modem. I even unplugged and re-seated modem. Still nothing. Any help appreciated. Thanks TheTraveller |

Aloha! Richard. |
thetraveller Tl Posts: 3 Canada | Posted - 1/25/2005 3:45:24 PM Hi Richard: I tried you suggestion and it worked. Thanks. Strange the only thing different that I could see was the IO Range and IRQ being used. No conflicts at all. MS products at their best!!!not Thanks |
