I used it to scan my modem (US Robotics 5610)and it produced ModemData.txt = 5,366 I was able to read it, I didn't understand it, so I tried to record it to a floppy disc with, mcopy modemdata.txt a: eventhough it appeared to save,it didn't. I wanted to send it to you for help, but was unable. I also have a USB memory stick but, don't know how to access it. Please Help, Thanks.....Ken ken7ren |

I can tell you - the easiest/surest way to use modem with Linux is to get one that is external with standard serial port - it just hooks up to PC COM port and requires no special drivers.... Aloha!
